Meet Writer's Helper

I met Audrey Owen of Writer's Helper several years ago when writing discovered me. She is my mainstay and the reason I haven't given up writing or trying to anyways. A woman of quality, I have learned much with her.Audrey's credentials are sound and reliable you can meet here here.

I receive her e-zine and it always inspires me one way or another. Today I opened up her e-zine and discovered this little poem which was what I needed to "hear". Thank you Audrey!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
...When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must--but don't you quit.
...Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup.

A Creative Dream... said...

Ahh, I needed that particular poem today, I'm so glad you shared Stella! The pics of snow look terribly familiar, we have the same thing going on here in Kentucky...and temps lower than we normally have...I'm so ready for spring!
